Main Street Medina Announces 2012 Events Calendar
(Medina, Ohio- December 19, 2011) Main Street Medina today announced their planned activities and events for the upcoming year. May 19, 2012: 6th Medina Chalk Art Festival, 9am-5pm (judging begins at 3pm), sponsored by FirstMerit Bank Live art demonstrations, entertainment, and the chance to create your own masterpiece in the Square! June 21, 2012: Ladies Night Out, 5pm-9pm, sponsored by VCS Salon & Spa and Main Street Medina AND September 20, 2012: Ladies Night Out, 5pm-8pm, sponsored by VCS Salon & Spa and Main Street Medina Grab your girlfriends, moms, sisters, and daughters and head to the historic district for an evening of special fun. Many stores offer specials, snacks, and beverages.
Aug. 25, 2012: 4th Medina International Fest, 9am-7pm, sponsored by Medina Hospital, Main Street Medina, FirstMerit Bank Set aside the entire day to immerse you and your family in the many cultures, ethnicities, and diversities found throughout Medina and the world! Continuous music throughout the day will introduce musical styles from around the globe; a huge international bazaar will offer ethnic art, information, and clothing; and a grand international food court will feature favorite ethnic foods to tempt and challenge your taste buds. A wealth of family and children’s activities will be offered. October 19-20, 2012: Medina Fall Festival, presented by Medina Hospital, Medina Community Rec Center and Main Street Medina Revel in all things fun and fall, from hay rides to pumpkin carvings, costumes parades and free family activities. Nov. 16-18, 2012: 28th Annual Candlelight Walk, sponsored by ROOT Candles, Main Street Medina, City of Medina Kick off the holiday season with this favorite event featuring over 1,300 luminaries! A full weekend of events, music, trolley and carriage rides, seasonal sales, and the perennial favorite, the Holiday Parade of Lights on Saturday night! The Holiday Farmers’ Market will return to ROOT Candle on W. Liberty Street. Visits with Santa Claus and the holiday spirit in the air make this a favorite activity for all.
