"Gnomeo & Juliet" Movie Showing
Friday, April 3, 10:30-12:30pm
Medina County District Library - Community Room B
210 South Broadway Street, Medina, OH 44256

Gnomeo & Juliet is a 2011 animated family film that playfully reimagines William Shakespeare’s classic Romeo and Juliet. Instead of feuding noble families, the story centers on two neighboring households whose garden gnomes secretly come to life when humans are not around.

The film blends comedy, adventure, and music—featuring songs by Elton John—to deliver a lighthearted message about overcoming rivalry, valuing friendship, and choosing love over conflict. The story resolves with a hopeful and happy ending where the rival gardens reconcile and celebrate together.
