MSM 2024 Scholarship Program
Main Street Medina is proud to partner with Cool Beans Café and Stanley Black & Decker and its Valley City, Ohio local facility to offer up to seven scholarships for 2024 high school / career center graduating seniors. The Cool Beans Café Emerging Entrepreneur Scholarship recognizes high school students pursuing a career in entrepreneurism. This scholarship started in 2023 and is generously funded by entrepreneurs and owners of Cool Beans Café, Laura Cavey, as well as a matching grant from Main Street Medina. These scholarships will provide multiple awards of $500 to $1000 for students in Medina County.

Outdoor Trades & Business Scholarship

The Stanley Black & Decker Outdoor Trades & Business Scholarship recognizes high school students pursuing a career in the vocational trades, business, and or entrepreneurship. This scholarship started in 2024 and is generously funded by Stanley Black & Decker Outdoor, formerly known as MTD Products, based in Valley City, Ohio. It’s also underwritten by Main Street Medina, the local economic development and historical preservation non-profit organization. This scholarship awards five (5) one-time scholarships of $1,000 each to qualifying students in Medina County.
