MSM 2024 Scholarship Program

Main Street Medina is proud to partner with Cool Beans Café and Stanley Black & Decker and its Valley City, Ohio local facility to offer up to seven scholarships for 2024 high school / career center graduating seniors. Please read the criteria below for each scholarship and apply by 5pm on Friday, March 29, 2024 to be considered. Should you have any questions, please email [email protected]. Good luck!

Cool Beans Café
​Emerging Entrepreneur Scholarship
Presented by Main Street Medina
The Cool Beans Café Emerging Entrepreneur Scholarship recognizes high school students pursuing a career in entrepreneurism. This scholarship started in 2023 and is generously funded by entrepreneurs and owners of Cool Beans Café, Laura Cavey, as well as a matching grant from Main Street Medina. These scholarships will provide multiple awards of $500 to $1000 for students in Medina County. 
Stanley Black & Decker
​Outdoor Trades & Business Scholarship 
Presented by Main Street Medina
The Stanley Black & Decker Outdoor Trades & Business Scholarship recognizes high school students pursuing a career in the vocational trades, business, and or entrepreneurship. This scholarship started in 2024 and is generously funded by Stanley Black & Decker Outdoor, formerly known as MTD Products, based in Valley City, Ohio. It’s also underwritten by Main Street Medina, the local economic development and historical preservation non-profit organization. This scholarship awards five (5) one-time scholarships of $1,000 each to qualifying students in Medina County.
