What: 28th Medina Ice Festival February 18-21, 2022
The event opens at 5pm on Friday, February 18th, when over 120 sculptures will be put on display. Once the sculptures are placed, they will stay on view all day and night, through Monday, February 21st. During evening hours and overnight, sculptures are highlighted by color-changing, LED lights.
Event Schedule Specifics: Friday, Feb 18, speed carving contests 5:30, 6, 6:30pm on Broadway Street in front of the County Courthouse. Fire and Ice Tower lighting at 7pm, also on Broadway Street in front of the County Courthouse.
Who: The event is free to attend, and open to everyone. Pets on leashes are allowed, at your own risk.
Where: The ice carvings will be on display in and around the Historic Medina Square (2 Public Square) and South Town District.
Food Vendors: The Medina District is home to over 35 restaurants, pubs, bakeries, and snack shops, the majority of which are financial sponsors of the event. Go HERE to view our visitors guide and restaurant map.

Why: The Medina Ice Festival is the largest Ice Festival in Northeast Ohio, and one of the top festivals in Ohio. It is produced by Elegant Ice Creations. Title sponsors for 2022 include Serpentini Chevrolet Medina, title sponsor; The City of Medina, PJ Marleys, Main Street Medina, and Frito-Lay as supporting sponsors.
COVID Precautions: walkways through the Medina Square/ Uptown Park will be roped off for one way pedestrian traffic pattern. Masks are encouraged, but not required.
